Biography

Carmen Chan is Deputy Head of Global Transaction Banking at OCBC Bank, leading the strategy and delivery of payments, liquidity, trade, and treasury solutions for businesses across ASEAN and Greater China. With over 30 years of experience spanning SME banking, transaction banking, operations and technology, she has been a key driver of OCBC’s regional transaction banking growth, helping clients navigate an increasingly connected and digital economy.  

Carmen champions the adoption of digital platforms, APIs, embedded banking, and modern technology architectures, enabling businesses to seamlessly integrate banking into their operating ecosystems. Passionate about client-centric innovation, she works closely with corporates, financial institutions, and SMEs to address opportunities in treasury transformation, payments modernization, supply chain ecosystems, and digital commerce. Her leadership has strengthened OCBC’s position as a leading transaction banking partner across Asia. 

Known for her collaborative leadership style, Carmen is equally committed to developing talent and building high-performing teams.
