Biography

As CHRO for Prudential Singapore, she leads the people strategy for a 1,100+ strong corporate workforce. With over 24 years of HR practitioner and consulting experience, across industries and geographies, she specialises in business transformation, change management, agile ways of working and talent development.

Neetha moved to Singapore in 2005, and started as HR consultant for banking and financial services, where she helped build stronger sector capability, including talent hubs for middle and back offices.

As Director at PwC Singapore, she led HR transformation projects across government agencies and FIs. Her contribution to capability development in financial services includes Finance Industry Competency Standards with IBF, Intellectual Property Competency Framework with IPOS, and a life insurance industry HR benchmarking study. These initiatives helped professionalise Singapore’s financial services workforce and strengthened common standards for skills and roles.

At Prudential, Neetha helped transform the organisation from a traditional insurer to people-centric innovative organisation and an employer of choice. She has supported national upskilling by driving reskilling programme for over 150 employees through IBF and WSG career conversion programmes. She also partnered 11 Institutes of Higher Learning through TEE-UP, creating mentoring, internship and career exposure opportunities for 500+ polytechnic students. Recent initiatives such as PruPrime for mature workers have strengthened pathways into life insurance careers, enhanced the sector’s employment brand and inspired similar capability-building efforts across the HR community.
