Biography
Wong Keng Fye is Country Head of Human Capital at Maybank Singapore Operations, with more than three decades of experience in banking and human capital leadership. Throughout his career, he has been instrumental in driving workforce transformation, talent development and organisational excellence within the financial services sector.
A passionate advocate for lifelong learning and future-ready talent, Keng Fye has championed initiatives to strengthen digital capabilities, accelerate upskilling and reskilling efforts, and foster a culture of continuous learning. Recognising the transformative impact of digitalisation, artificial intelligence and changing workforce expectations, he has led programmes that equip employees with the skills, agility and resilience required to succeed in the future of banking while supporting the industry's broader transformation agenda.
Beyond his responsibilities at Maybank, Keng Fye has made significant contributions to Singapore's financial services ecosystem through his longstanding leadership as Chairman of the Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF) Banking and Finance Industry Group. He also serves on key tripartite and industrial relations bodies, contributing to the advancement of workforce, employment and talent development practices across the sector.
His commitment to workforce excellence has been recognised through multiple industry accolades, including two Tripartite Alliance Pinnacle Awards, as well as awards for Work-Life Excellence, Fair and Progressive Employment Practices, and Age-Inclusive Workplace Practices. Keng Fye holds a Degree in Social Science (Economics) from the National University of Singapore.
