We have been alerted to a potential scam involving IBF Examination registration with unauthorised use of IBF’s name and branding, as well as a fraudulent training course that falsely uses the names and contact information of the IBF and the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
Members of the public are advised to exercise caution when receiving marketing content and to check our official website at www.ibf.org.sg to verify that the course and training provider are recognised by IBF. If you receive or encounter suspicious communications claiming to represent IBF or MAS, do not respond, disclose your personal information, or make any payment.
Members of the public are also advised to be vigilant against fraudulent Examination registration scams. Always sign up directly with IBF through our eservice portal at eservices.ibf.org.sg.
Scammers may impersonate IBF, training providers or affiliated organisations to solicit payments or personal information. If in doubt, please verify the information through IBF's official website before proceeding with any registration or payment.
If you believe you may have been scammed, act immediately to minimise further losses. Contact your bank without delay, secure your accounts, file a police report and report the incident to the relevant platform administrator.
